Dear Mr. Ross,

The electrician role at The Current Collective sparked my interest like a live wire! My name is Jeremy Halton, and I've spent six years practising as an electrician across Palmerston North and Auckland. I'm looking for a team that's more like whānau, and to contribute my electrical skills and can-do attitude to the right environment.

Throughout my career, I have tackled a wide spectrum of electrical projects, from wiring new builds to troubleshooting complex systems in established structures. Blueprints are my roadmap, and a multimetre is my trusty sidekick. I approach every task with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every connection is secure and every installation adheres to the highest safety standards. Like I say to the thousands of happy customers I've served over the years: if you have an electrical problem, I'm your guy!

I've lost count of the times I've faced a stubborn circuit or a power outage that threatened to derail a project. These challenges have sharpened my diagnostic skills and taught me the importance of quick, effective solutions that keep things running smoothly for clients. Whether it's a flickering light in a family home or a critical system failure in a commercial building, I approach each situation with a calm, methodical approach and a determination to get things back up and running as quickly and safely as possible.

Safety is woven into every step I take, and my track record reflects that commitment. I'm not just talking about ticking boxes on a checklist; it's about a genuine respect for the power I work with and a responsibility to protect both myself and those around me. I'm always up-to-date on the latest safety regulations and best practices, and I'm proactive in identifying and addressing potential hazards before they become problems.

Beyond the technical side, I believe in the power of teamwork. I thrive in collaborative environments where ideas flow freely, and everyone feels respected. Sharing knowledge and learning from colleagues is part of what keeps this trade exciting. I'm always keen to lend a hand, offer a fresh perspective, or simply share a laugh with the team at the end of a long day.

My family and I are wholeheartedly embracing the move to Whangarei. We're drawn to its natural beauty, the strong sense of community, and the opportunities it offers for a balanced and fulfilling life.  I'm particularly excited about the chance to explore the stunning coastline, hike through the lush ngahere, and to immerse ourselves in the local culture.

I'm confident my skills will be an asset to The Current Collective. I'm genuinely excited about the prospect of becoming part of the Whangarei community and contributing my expertise to a company that shares my passion for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

My CV is attached for a more detailed look at my qualifications. I'd love to discuss how I can contribute to your team further, so please feel free to reach out at your earliest convenience.

Ngā mihi nui,

Jeremy Halton
